Abstract
De aanleiding voor het onderzoek is de voorgenomen bouw van huisvesting voor arbeidsmigranten. Hiervoor moet een omgevingsvergunning worden aangevraagd voor het afwijken van het bestemmingsplan. Op basis van het bureauonderzoek is een gespecificeerde verwachting opgesteld. Vanaf 6,2 m – NAP (ca 5,7 m -mv) bestaat de ondergrond van het plangebied uit dekzand (Laagpakket van Wierden van de Formatie van Boxtel). Op dit niveau kan in de periode Laat-Paleolithicum tot en met Mesolithicum bewoning hebben plaatsgevonden. De aard van het onderliggende reliëf is in onvoldoende mate bekend om een uitspraak te kunnen doen over de archeologische verwachting voor dit niveau. Een vindplaats zal zich manifesteren als een vondststrooiing, waardoor de kans op het aantreffen daarvan klein is.
