Exploring Satisfaction with Canada’s Drug Policies and Interventions
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The proposed correlational research will examine whether satisfaction levels with current drug policies and interventions in British Columbia are a predictor of perceived mental well-being. Previous research on drug use has primarily focused on the effects of stigma towards drug users and their family members (e.g., Corrigan et al., 2006; di Sarno et al., 2021) or support for harm reduction services (e.g., Wild et al., 2021). However, many harm reduction services are not currently implemented in British Columbia. Thus, while such research adds to the literature, it is limited in scope as it does not explore how the current drug policies and interventions might be affecting individuals. Therefore, the proposed research will expand on the literature by examining current policies and interventions in British Columbia as a predictor of perceived mental well-being.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
