Abstract
This study is part of a larger project, the Transition to Parenthood and Sexual Well-being Study conducted by Natalie Rosen (Dalhousie University) and Emily Impett (University of Toronto) in 2016-2018. The purpose of the current study is to (1) identify distinct domains of sexual challenges that mothers and partners report postpartum, (2) examine the degree of stability or change in these identified domains between three and 12 months postpartum, (3) examine if changes in both partners’ domains of postpartum sexual challenges are interrelated, and (4) examine if partners’ sexual communication during pregnancy predicts change in the domains.
