Abstract
This retrospective cohort study using health administrative data in the province of Ontario will examine the impact of the recent trends of increasing cannabis potency and liberalization of medical and non-medical cannabis on the frequency and severity of psychosis associated with cannabis use as well as describe factors associated with greater risk of transition to schizophrenia following an emergency department visit for cannabis-induced psychosis and other cannabis-related presentations.
