In 2021, the Government of Canada committed to create, over the next few years, an early learning and child care system that gives families across the country access to high-quality, affordable and inclusive childcare services that are adapted to the specific and particular needs of young children with disabilities. Before even proposing standards, it is important to identify and understand the characteristics of the environment that promote accessibility specifically to childcare services for these children.The objective of this scoping review is therefore to identify solutions related to the physical and social environment that promote accessibility of childcare services for children aged 0 to 5 years with disabilities.
