Abstract
La hausse du travail à domicile provoquée par la pandémie de COVID-19 a diminué directement l’utilisation du transport en commun. Bien que cette hausse de travail à domicile ait probablement réduit les déplacements et les émissions de gaz à effet de serre causées par le transport, elle a aussi exercé une pression à la baisse sur les revenus et le nombre de passagers des services urbains de transport en commun. Le présent article évalue la mesure dans laquelle la hausse du travail à domicile observée au Canada au cours des dernières années pourrait avoir réduit le nombre de navetteurs utilisant le transport en commun dans les régions urbaines de 2016 à 2023.
