Abstract
La psicoterapia se produce en un encuentro especial entre dos personas, una de las cuales intenta ayudar y la otra busca sanar o mejorar su bienestar. En psicoterapia, es la naturaleza de la relación, el encuentro y los diálogos que se suceden lo que potencialmente libera al cliente de su prisión y le permite encontrar nuevos significados a través de la relación terapéutica y de otras relaciones importantes. El sí-mismo solo puede ser confirmado por el otro. La persona que está sufriendo y envuelta en relaciones conflictivas puede encontrar curación en esta poderosa relación humana de compañerismo en la que el compañero que ayuda está plenamente dedicado a escucharle, oírle y entenderle en su relato único y particular.
