Les médias numériques en ligne occupent une place centrale dans la vie des adolescents et leur permettent d’établir des liens sociaux. Cependant, selon certaines recherches, l’utilisation des médias numériques en ligne pourrait être associée négativement à la santé mentale. Fondée sur les données de 13 600 adolescents de 12 à 17 ans provenant de l’Enquête canadienne sur la santé des enfants et des jeunes de 2019, cette étude visait à examiner les associations entre différents types d’utilisation des médias numériques en ligne et la santé mentale des adolescents canadiens.
