Le transport des médicaments est un des enjeux majeurs du secteur pharmaceutique. Ce secteur représente un marché global de 870 milliards de dollars. La France est le 4ème marché européen pour un chiffre d'affaire global de près de 51,4 milliards d'euros en 2010, en progression de 2,4% par rapport à 2009. L’évolution des technologies pharmaceutiques et l’apparition sur le marché de produits présentant divers types de sensibilités ont poussé les laboratoires pharmaceutiques et les autorités sanitaires à être de plus en plus prudents, vu les enjeux de sécurité sanitaire et économiques qui en découlent. Dans cette optique, de nombreux référentiels ont été développés afin de maitriser le transport des produits pharmaceutiques : Bonnes Pratiques de Distribution (BPD) Française n°2000/9bis, Lignes Directrices Européenne 94/C 63/03, WHO, FDA, Lignes Directrices Canadienne GUI0001. Cependant rares sont celles qui abordent spécifiquement le transport des produits sensibles. Ce projet a donc pour but de porter un regard sur l'état actuel des guides en circulation afin d'en tirer un outil d’autodiagnostic pertinent et à même de répondre aux exigences croissantes du secteur. Pour ce faire, les BPD Françaises ont été la base de l’établissement de cette grille d’autodiagnostic, complétées par les référentiels préalablement cités, puis adaptées selon le type de sensibilité en renforçant les étapes clés de la distribution (réception, stockage , transport). L'image ainsi obtenu permet une vision claire des acteurs et des niveaux d'exigence sur ce marché très compétitif et exigeant en termes de qualité, conformité et sécurité pour les patients.
