Даний посібник – це практичне керівництво для керівників та технічного персоналу про те, як підвищувати ефективність виробництва з метою економії виробничих витрат і одночасного зниження впливу на навколишнє середовище. Більшість деревообробних підприємств не усвідомлює, що неефективне виробництво вимагає значних витрат сировини й енергії, а в кінцевому підсумку призводить до великих втрат коштів. Відходи і викиди в атмосферу – це сировина, яка була придбана за гроші, але не була перетворена в продукцію, що продається за гроші. Даний посібник ознайомить вас з принципами чистого виробництва, інстру-ментами і шляхами удосконалення, які сприяють економії ресурсів в малих і середніх підприємствах.
