Abstract
This article serves as a practical, concise, and easily understandable guide for English language learners and teachers. It provides a clear understanding of which vocabulary to focus on, what it means to know a word, how to learn or teach words, and how to assess form-meaning vocabulary knowledge. The study offers a brief and straightforward manual to improve vocabulary knowledge, using language that is accessible even to English language learners with low proficiency.
