Abstract
O referido trabalho objetiva verificar o que o Plano Estadual de Educação de Mato Grosso e o Plano Municipal de Educação de Terra Nova do Norte-MT trazem como meta visando fortalecer a Educação do Campo e observar quais as ações estão sendo realizadas no município de Terra Nova do Norte a fim de contemplar a Educação do Campo como Política Pública. A educação do campo, tratada como educação rural na legislação brasileira, engloba todos os espaços da pecuária, da agricultura, das florestas, os espaços pesqueiros, das minas, caiçaras, ribeirinhos e extrativistas. O campo é cheio de possibilidades que dinamizam a ligação dos seres humanos com a própria produção das condições da existência e com as realizações da sociedade humana.
