Abstract
Im Anschluss an eine erste schweizweite Befragung zur Situation des Mittelbaus im Jahr 2004 wurde 2011 eine zweite erweiterte Studie durchgeführt, an der neu auch<br>pädagogische Hochschulen teilnahmen. Da die Unterschiede zwischen den Hochschultypen zum Teil gross sind, beschreibt der Beitrag ausgewählte Ergebnisse zur Situation an den pädagogischen Hochschulen. Der Mittelbau weist hier ein spezifi sches demografi ches Profil auf und es werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede zwischen Fachhochschulen und pädagogischen Hochschulen in Bezug auf Eingangsqualifikationen, bisherige Berufstätigkeiten, formale Anstellungsbedingungen,<br>Tätigkeitsprofile, Qualifikationsaktivitäten während der Anstellung und<br>berufliche Perspektiven sichtbar.
