Este artigo analisa os efeitos das políti cas de incenti vos fi scais na implementação de infraestrutura verde em propriedades privadas e seu impacto no ambiente urbano.Uti lizando uma abordagem quanti tati va, comparamos a taxa de adoção de infraestrutura verde em áreas com e sem incenti vos fi scais e avaliamos os custos e benefícios fi nanceiros e ambientais dessas infraestruturas. A abordagem qualitati va inclui estudos de caso de programas de incenti vos em Toronto e Melbourne, fornecendo uma compreensão mais profunda dos efeitos dessas políti cas.
