Abstract
Protection for pregnant and lactating workers in Québec is based on scientific guidance, This guidance uses the precautionary principle for policy recommandations (https://www.inspq.qc.ca/maternite-et-travail/recours-au-programme-pour-une-maternite-sans-danger/principe-de-precaution). The document provides guidance for eliminating tasks for pregnant workers that carry a risk of Covid-19. Physician following the pregnancy are required by law to consult occupational health physicians. The guidance document is used by the Québec community of practice of occupational health physicians involved in maternity protection.
