Abstract
Poecilopompilus interruptus (Say) GA: Sumter County, Americus, Americus Garden Inn; 20 August 2016; S. Egelseer. Host: Eriophora ravilla, adult female. The wasp paralyzed the tropical orbweaver by stinging and examined it with her antennae as it laid dorsal side upward on crushed stones. She then grasped the spider with her mandibles by its left foreleg and pulled it backwards, dorsal side upward, eventually releasing it dorsal side upward atop a water spigot. (Egelseer 2016; S.
