Abstract
<p>Ces profils contiennent de l’information gratuite sur la population des adultes et des enfants ayant une identité autochtone, pour certaines communautés du Canada où la population ayant une identité autochtone est de 200 personnes ou plus, d’après le Recensement de 2001. Ces communautés comprennent les Premières nations, les établissements métis, les communautés inuites, les régions urbaines et les régions rurales. Les données concernant les communautés Nisga’a sont agglomérées à l’échelon de la nation Nisga'a, tout comme les données concernant les communautés faisant partie du Grand conseil des Cris. Toutes les communautés des Premières nations n’ont pu être incluses dans l’échantillon à cause de contraintes opérationnelles. De plus, quelques communautés ont choisi de ne pas participer à l’enquête.</p>
