Data-Planet™ Statistical Ready Reference by Conquest Systems, Inc. [Data-file]. Dataset-ID: 001-029-005. Dataset: These data represent the number of hours worked by part-time employees during the pay period. Note: These data are used to calculate full-time equivalent employment data. Data in these files are based on information obtained in the Annual Survey of Government Employment and Payroll. The survey measures the number of state and local government employees and their gross payrolls for the pay period including March 12. The survey provides data on full-time and part-time employment, part-time hours worked, full-time equivalent employment, and payroll statistics by governmental function. Data from the Census of Governments: Employment Component and the Annual Survey of Public Employment and Payroll are available for each year 1992-current with the exception of 1996. There was no Annual Survey of Public Employment and Payroll for 1996. The base reporting period for measuring employment and payrolls was changed from October to March. This change became effective with the 1997 Census of Governments.
