Abstract
The article is a short introduction to studies on relations between<br>Albanians and the Republic of Ragusa during the Ottoman period. It deals with papers published by various authors who have special importance for the history of relations between the Republic of Ragusa and Albanians during the XVI-XVIII centuries. The article presents some preliminary results regarding the search. Here are presented some important authors for this study topic. Most of these scholars are Slavs, mainly Croats. Among them, we can mention Josip Luetić, Vuk Vinovar, Bogomil Hrabak, Vinko Ivančević, etc. The article aims to give the main approaches the authors in question make to this topic.
