Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Some of the fragrance compounds in\naerosols tend to remain trapped\ninside the droplets. The ability to capture these droplets would make\nit possible to desorb and transfer the analytes dissolved within for\ndetermination. In this study, we design a novel filter-incorporated\nneedle-trap device and use it to capture fragrance compounds in droplets\nas well as the gas phase of seven aerosol spray samples. For comparison,\nthin-film and solid-phase microextraction were also employed to extract\ngas-phase-borne fragrances from the same sprays. The results revealed\nthat the filter-incorporated needle-trap device enables the extraction\nof total concentrations due to its ability to trap fragrance-containing\ndroplets, whereas thin-film and solid-phase microextraction are only\nable to extract unbound compounds present in the gas phase. In addition,\nthe developed needle-trap device provided acceptable results, proving\nits applicability for the analysis of aroma in other samples, such\nas beer and soda.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
