Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

About 13,500 phytosociological relevés (vegetation plot samples) of the Reinhold-Tüxen Archive at the Institute of Geobotany, Leibniz Universität Hannover, collected between 1925 and 1979, were digitalized in the years 2000–2003. These relevés come from 25 European countries and Canada, the geographical focus being in north-western Germany. However, due to the file format then used, the data have proved to be hardly accessible for vegetation scientists and have barely been used since. In an effort to make the wealth of phytosociological and biodiversity information more widely accessi-ble for scientists, the data have now been harmonized, taxonomically referenced, and transferred to the well-established phytosociological database format Turboveg. Numerous unpublished relevés of the Tüxen legacy may now be utilized open-access under the vegetweb 2.0 and EVA databases for local and regional geobotanical, phytosociological, macroecological and global change research.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
