Investigating the Associations Between Cisgender Women’s Orgasm Experiences, Perceived Partner Responsiveness and Sexual Wellbeing Among Community Women and their Partners

Abstract
This dyadic research will examine the associations between the orgasm experiences of cisgender women and sexual wellbeing (i.e., sexual desire, sexual distress, sexual satisfaction) for both members of a couple. This study will use both longitudinal and daily diary methods to examine these associations. This research will also examine whether perceived partner responsiveness moderates the association between orgasm experience and sexual wellbeing. Gender/sex diverse couples from Canada and the United States were recruited from previous lab contacts, social media, or via physical posters placed in cities across Canada. Couples were recruited to complete a baseline survey, brief daily surveys for 28 days, and a follow up survey 4 months later.
