Il s'agit du protocole de recherche qui a été développé pour guidé l'étude de la portée. L’objectif de cette étude de la portée est faire l’état des connaissances sur l’évolution du concept de « diversité » dans le milieu de la musique au Canada ces dix dernières années (2014-2024). Il s’agira de relever ce que la recherche a identifié comme enjeux et défis de l’expression des cultures musicales de groupes minoritaires, de recenser les pratiques de visibilisation par et pour ces groupes et de proposer des pistes pour renforcer les efforts de leur mise en visibilité. Il résultera un inventaire structuré et analytique qui permettra de fournir une vue d’ensemble des informations disponibles et aidera à identifier les lacunes sur le sujet.
