Abstract
L’utilisation de contraceptifs oraux est légale au Canada depuis 1969. La pilule contraceptive est aujourd’hui la méthode de contraception réversible la plus courante au pays, et elle figure parmi les médicaments le plus couramment utilisés par les femmes canadiennes en âge de procréer. À l’aide des données de l’Enquête canadienne sur les mesures de la santé, cette étude examine la prévalence de la prise de contraceptifs oraux chez les femmes canadiennes non enceintes et en âge de procréer (âgées de 15 à 49 ans), ainsi que les facteurs qui y sont associés, selon certaines caractéristiques sociodémographiques et d’autres facteurs.
