Les recherches menées en contexte québécois sur l’intégration socioéconomique des jeunes adultes issus de l’immigration ont souligné des difficultés d’insertion professionnelle. Mais cette caractéristique commune aux immigrants dissimule des disparités entre les origines. La présente étude vise à mettre en valeur ce débat en abordant la situation des immigrants nord-africains sur le marché du travail au Québec. L’étude s’inscrit dans une méthodologie qualitative basée sur une revue de littérature. En accord avec le champ de la sociologie interprétative où est pris en compte le rôle des individus dans la construction de leur expérience de vie, tout en reconnaissant celui contraignant des structures sociales (Lahire, 2005), ce mémoire apporte un lot d’information sur la situation des immigrants d'origine nord-africaine sur le marché du travail au Québec et contribue à la connaissance empirique de cette thématique pour en avoir une meilleure compréhension.
