Abstract
Les mesures de confinement prises au début de la pandémie de COVID-19 ont eu des répercussions importantes sur l’emploi au Canada et aux États-Unis. Depuis que ces mesures ont pris fin, les marchés de l’emploi n’ont pas traversé les étapes menant à leur reprise de la même manière. Bien que certaines similitudes aient été observées, surtout selon les secteurs, des différences marquées ont également été remarquées. Cet article examine les différences entre les marchés de l’emploi des deux pays à la suite du confinement en comparant la reprise de l’emploi au sein des divers secteurs, les taux d’activité et le roulement sur le marché du travail.
