Abstract
Entitled here as 'The Sisters' Graves at Lemnos'. Published in 'Oxford Magazine'. Versions also published in 'St. Monica's School Notes', 1915-1916 in October 1916, 'Verses of a V.A.D.' (1918), and in 'Poems of the War and After' (1934). Brittain was stationed on the hospital ship the HMHS Britannic, at Mudros Bay, Lemnos in 1916 when she saw the graves of three Canadian sisters who died nursing in the camp hospital there.
