Abstract
Distant Relatives featuring Phil Minton live at Vancouver jazz festival 2014 This performance explores small ensemble free improvisation, making significant use of extended techniques and other experimental devices. The ensemble is international (Sweden, Canada, Germany, and the UK) and exhibits a unique mix of personal approaches to improvisation.
