Abstract
Der Band präsentiert die Druckfassungen der Vorträge zum Thema ‚Werte‘, die anlässlich der Erlanger Universitätstage vom 12. März bis 9. April 2019 in Amberg und vom 24. Oktober bis zum 28. November 2019 in Ansbach gehalten wurden. Den fünf Erlanger Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern, Prof. Dr. Maren Conrad, Dr. Caroline Hack, Dr. Klaus Lösch, Prof. Dr. Roland Sturm und Prof. Dr. Georges Tamer – aus den fünf Disziplinen Germanistik/Komparatistik, Medizinethik, Amerikanistik, Politikwissenschaft und Orientalische Philologie/Islamwissenschaft – gelangen spannende Vorträge, in denen das komplexe Rahmenthema „Werte“ aus der jeweiligen Fachperspektive beleuchtet wurde; ihnen glückte die Gratwanderung, ihre Beiträge so auszuformulieren, dass sie trotz ihres hohen wissenschaftlichen Anspruchs für ein breites Publikum verständlich bleiben.
