This report describes the experiments carried out on a 1:29.69 scale fully appended model of the Preliminary Design of the Joint Support Ship (JSS) in the Oceans, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) Towing Tank in November - December 2011. The purpose of these experiments was to evaluate the performance of this revised design of the JSS in terms of its resistance, propulsion and wake survey characteristics. Appended resistance experiments were done at three conditions. Condition1 represented the End of Life (8.2 m draft) condition. Condition 2 represented the Deep Departure (8.0 m. draft). Condtion 3 represented End of Life with trim by bow. Effective Power at 20 knots is 10.4-10.5 MW. Self-propulsion experiments were done at Condition 1. Delivered Power at 20 knots is 15.9-16.3 MW. Wake Survey experiments were done at speeds of 15 and 20 knots. Both of the wake surveys showed poor flow into the upper half of the propeller disc.
