Abstract
Data from a rhizotron experiment using three Mediterranean species (Brachypodium retusum, Cistus albidus and Quercus coccifera): two individuals eirher of the same species or of two diifferent species were grown together. The data are about root parameters (RB: root biomass; RE: root elongation rate; SRL: specific root length; RTD: root tissue density; RTh: root thickness; RD: root density; Diam: root diameter) and soil microbial MicroResp™ parameters, mesured for different plant combination, drought treatments and soil depths.
