This report presents the results of a scoping review and evidence and gap map for consideration in guideline development by the Global Malaria Programme of the World Health Organization. This scoping review investigated important contextual factors in relation to common vector control interventions used to prevent malaria. The aim of this scoping review is to inform the direction of future systematic reviews and evidence syntheses, to better inform the development or update of WHO recommendations on vector control interventions.
