Abstract
Como consecuencia del terremoto de 1755, la fábrica de la colegiata del Salvador quedó bastante dañada. En 1762, el cabildo encargó a José Corona, maestro de fundir campanas, el que fabricara las dos que habían quedado inservibles, una de ellas la del reloj. As a result of the earthquake of 1755, the building of the collegiate church of El Salvador was badly damaged. In 1762, the chapter commissioned José Corona, a master bell caster, to make the two bells that had become unusable, one of which was the clock bell.
