Abstract
A peer-reviewed antibody characterization article corresponding to this Zenodo preprint is openly available at F1000Research: https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.130126.2 This report presents a guide to selecting high-quality commercial antibodies against Secreted frizzled-related protein 1 by immunoblot (Western blot), and immunoprecipitation on culture media using a standardized experimental protocol based on comparing read-outs in knockout cell lines and isogenic parental controls. This study was funded in part by Genome Québec's Genomics Integration Program, awarded to the research laboratory of Peter S. McPherson. It was also supported in part by the Emory-Sage-SGC TREAT-AD center established by the National Institutes of Aging under award number U54AG065187.
