Il s'agit de l'aboutissement d'une série d’activités qui se sont déroulées au cours de 2009 et 2010 dans le cadre du projet pilote en partenariat avec Vrac environnement et l’Arrondissement Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension. Le Plan de quartier vert a été conçu en tenant compte des propositions des citoyens de la communauté de Parc-Extension, qui ont été invités tout au long de ce projet à s'exprimer sur leur milieu de vie.
