Le travail des organismes à but non lucratif est transformationnel, qu'il s'agisse de l'impact concret à l’échelle local dans nos communautés, à l’impulsion donnée au changement par les organismes nationaux aux niveaux les plus élevés.Mais le secteur philanthropique n'existe pas sans examen critique. « La pandémie a mis en lumière l'important travail des OBNL, mais elle a aussi démontré les failles dans notre environnement opérationnel », souligne le document d'Imagine Canada de 2022 intitulé « Notre diversité, notre force ».Alors que tous les secteurs de l’économie doivent envisager leur avenir dans un paysage post-pandémique, le secteur philanthropique doit en faire tout autant.
