Abstract
Ce texte présente un résumé des résultats d'une présentation réalisée dans le cadre de la Journée scientifique francophone internationale 2024 organisée conjointement par la Plateforme nationale pour la recherche sur la fin de vie et le Réseau québécois de recherche en soins palliatifs et de fin de vie (RQSPAL). La pratique infirmière en soins palliatifs à domicile fait l’objet de critiques lorsqu’elle est circonscrite à des paramètres biomédicaux, comme la gestion des douleurs et des symptômes de fin de vie, en porte-à-faux avec les volontés réelles des personnes soignées. Le concept de liberté d’Amartya Sen et une conception systémique ont été conjugués pour produire une élaboration théorique de la pratique infirmière pour la santé, à partir de quatre récits de pratique d’infirmier.e.s œuvrant en soins palliatifs à domicile. Une méthode de questionnement analytique complète la théorisation. Quatre paramètres façonnent une pratique infirmière pour la santé en soins palliatifs à domicile: 1) la navigation entre des normes et les représentations de la vie valorisée 2) la conception de l’Autre à la fois capable et vulnérable; 3) une réflexivité sur soi, et son pouvoir comme soignant 4) la présence par un agir créatif à la fois lent et sensible.
