Original ms. in the Huntington Library, ref. Wagner. Consists of 28 letters. In nO.1 J.B.Z. Bolduc refers to his visit to Vancouver Island with James Douglas; nos.6 and 7 recount De Smet's visit to the Kootenays where he participated in the fish festival. NOS.27-28 by Nicholas Point. At the end of the volume are the Lord's Prayer in seven Indian [sic] dialects, short vocabulary in English, Flat-Head, Blackfoot and Cree [sic] and a list of Rocky Mountain plants which flower in August and September."-- Strathern, G.
