Abstract

Mental health challenges are common among graduate students. The scope of empirical literature describing graduate student mental well-being in Canada is unknown. Using the five-stage process described by Arksey & O'Malley (2005) and PRISMA ScR guidelines, we are conducting this scoping review. Our search strategy has been deployed in seven databases (EMBASE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Medline, Sociological Abstracts, Nursing, and allied health, ERIC). Using Covidence, two independent raters are screening titles and abstracts, and conducting a full-text review of included studies. The findings of this review are meant to guide future research, policy, and practice approaches aimed at improving the mental well-being of graduate students in Canada.
