In der vorliegenden Studie wird der Zusammenhang zwischen Alexithymie und Emotionsregulationsstrategien bei jungen Erwachsenen untersucht. Grundlage der Erhebung ist eine Online-Befragung, in der die Teilnehmer*innen den Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-26) sowie den Emotionsregulationsfragebogen (ERQ) ausfüllten. Ziel der Analyse ist es, zu prüfen, ob und in welchem Ausmaß Alexithymie mit der Nutzung spezifischer Emotionsregulationsstrategien – insbesondere kognitiver Neubewertung und expressiver Suppression – korreliert. Zur statistischen Auswertung werden Pearson-Korrelationen berechnet. Es wird erwartet, dass höhere Werte in Alexithymie mit einer geringeren Nutzung kognitiver Neubewertung und einer stärkeren Nutzung expressiver Suppression einhergehen. Die Ergebnisse sollen zu einem besseren Verständnis der Rolle von Alexithymie in der emotionalen Selbstregulation junger Erwachsener beitragen.
