Ce fichier de microdonnées à grande diffusion (FMGD) renferme des données non agrégées associées à une vaste gamme de variables recueillies dans le cadre de l’Enquête canadienne sur l'apprentissage et la garde des jeunes enfants (ECAGJE). ECAGJE examine les modes de garde au Canada pour les enfants de moins de six ans et porte sur les différents modes de garde des jeunes enfants auxquels ont recours les familles, les difficultés auxquelles certaines familles peuvent être confrontées lorsqu'elles cherchent des services de garde, ainsi que les raisons pour lesquelles certaines familles n'utilisent pas ces services. L'enquête permet aussi de recueillir des renseignements sur la participation au marché du travail des parents et des tuteurs afin de mieux comprendre les interactions entre le travail et l'utilisation des modes de garde des jeunes enfants.
