Au cours des dernières années, on a observé une légère diminution au chapitre du nombre d’inscriptions des étudiants canadiens et un nombre croissant d’étudiants étrangers inscrits à des programmes postsecondaires canadiens. En utilisant des données sur les inscriptions provenant du Système d’information sur les étudiants postsecondaires, la présente étude permet d’examiner la relation entre les changements observés dans les inscriptions postsecondaires des étudiants canadiens et l’afflux d’étudiants étrangers au cours des années 2010, selon l’établissement d’enseignement et le domaine d’études, et elle fournit une des premières analyses empiriques de cette relation dans le contexte du Canada.
