Abstract

Diante das dificuldades e dos desafios para a promoção da humanização no contexto educacional, podemos perceber a relevância de espaços educativos não formais, como museus, já que possuem o potencial de sensibilizar e aprofundar a formação integral do cidadão, por meio de uma abordagem interdisciplinar e transdisciplinar dos conteúdos escolares. Neste trabalho, objetivamos a apresentação do único museu de direitos humanos do Canadá, e apresentamos, a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva e interpretativa, como determinadas estratégias e atividades podem ser aproveitadas para ensinar ética, sobretudo no contexto educacional brasileiro. Por fim, discutimos características desse museu que contribuem para a melhoria da qualidade da educação, visando a formação de sujeitos capazes de agir em prol de maior sustentabilidade e justiça socioambiental.
