Abstract
GIPS-1 is a ginseng root Reference Material (RM) from the National Research Council Canada (NRC) for trace metals and pesticides. A unit of GIPS-1 consists of approximately 1 gram of North American ginseng roots. This material is intended for use in the calibration of procedures and the development of methods for the determination of trace metals and pesticides in ginseng root and other similar matrices.
