Abstract
Le Gouvernement du Canada a recours à l’information financière pour appuyer ses décisions, à des fins d’élaboration des politiques, de prestation des services et de référence historique. Ces états financiers ont été préparés pour répondre à ces besoins. Ce rapport financier trimestriel ministériel traduit les résultats de la période comptable en cours et a été préparé conformément au Budget principal des dépenses et au Budget supplémentaire des dépenses (A). Ce rapport devrait être lu conjointement avec le Budget principal des dépenses, le Budget supplémentaire des dépenses (A) de même qu’avec le Plan d’action économique du Canada (Budget 2012, le Budget 2013, le Budget 2014 ainsi que le Budget 2015). Ils ont été préparés par la direction, comme l’exige l’article 65.1 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques (L.R.C. (1985), ch. F-11) et selon les modalités prescrites par le Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor du Canada. Bien que ces états financiers n’aient pas fait l'objet d'une vérification externe ou d'un examen, le Conseil national de recherches Canada (CNRC) atteste qu’ils sont justes et reflètent bien la situation financière pour la période se terminant le 31 décembre 2015.
