Solidago canadensis L. Artbeschreibung: 50-200(-250) cm hoch, nur im Blütenstand verzweigt, Stängel besonders oben flaumig, grün. Blätter lanzettlich, meist entfernt und scharf gezähnt, +/- sitzend, 5-10mal länger als breit, unterseits dicht behaart. Blüten gelb. Köpfe gestielt, mit kurzen Zungen- und zahlreichen Röhrenblüten, Durchmesser 3-5 mm, in endständiger, einseitswendiger Rispe. Hülle 2-3 mm lang. Früchte 0,5-1 mm, Pappus ca. 3 mm lang.
