Abstract
Nærværende undersøgelse "ISSP-undersøgelse 1998" er en tværsnitsundersøgelse, som er gennemført i en række lande. ISSP (International Social Survey Programme) er et international samarbejde, som har 49 deltagende lande. Denne undersøgelse drejer sig om om privat og offentlig moral samt religiøsitet. Yderligere er respondenterne blevet stillet spørgsmål om generel og specifik tolerance. Følgende baggrundsvariable er medtaget i undersøgelsen: Alder, køn, civilstand, antal personer i husstanden, respondentens indkomst, husstandsindkomst, hovedbeskæftigelse, fagforeningsmedlemsskab, stemmeafgivelse ved sidste folketingsvalg. Følgende lande deltog i nærværende undersøgelse: Østrig, Australien, Bulgarien, Canada, Chile, Cypern, Tjekkiet, Frankrig, Tyskland, Stor Britannien, Ungarn, Irland, Israel, Italien, Japan, Letland, Holland, New Zealand, Nord Irland, Norge, Filippinerne, Polen, Portugal, Rusland, Slovenien, Slovakiet, Spanien, Sverige, Schweiz, USA og Danmark.
