Abstract
El presente trabajo analiza la articulación organizativa de la comunidad indígena de San Rafael de Chuquipogio y las respuestas que sus habitantes han generado frente al cambio climático y a las transformaciones agrarias. El objetivo de este análisis es resaltar la capacidad de generación de agencialidades locales de las comunidades indígenas, desde el acercamiento etnográfico, la memoria oral y la revisión de la documentación secundaria. El estudio concluye que las comunidades indígenas, a lo largo de la historia han construido el andamiaje organizativo comunitario, por medio del cual, interactúan con Estado y los organismos de cooperación al desarrollo, acceden a la tenencia de la tierra, defienden sus territorios y conservan los páramos.
