United States: AK (Scudder 1997), CA, CO, ID (Rider 1990), MI, ND (see comments below), NE, NY (Kirby 1837), OR (Rider 1990), WA (Lattin 1997), WY (Rider 1990). Comments: Uhler’s (1877) “Dakota” record (repeated by several other workers) probably originated from North Dakota (see Rider 2012 for an explanation).
