91. Theognete tomneyeae Anderson, new species (Figures 294, 303, 312) Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 3.20–3.37mm; female, 3.43–3.71mm. Width, male, 1.91–2.19mm; female, 2.14–2.47mm. Pronotum impunctate, scales dense, erect, plumose, shaggy, clumped along lateral margins and in paramedian tufts. Elytra with scales erect, dense, plumose, shaggy, clumped; sutural stria slightly impressed, not punctate; globular in form, not much longer than pronotum. Abdominal ventrite 5 with large basal excavation. Aedeagus as in Fig. 303. Geographical distribution. México (Oaxaca). Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of mixed oak forest leaf litter at elevations from 2100– 2250m. Derivation of specific name. Through their support of the Nature Discovery Fund at the Canadian Museum of Nature, this species is named after Sara E. Tomney of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada as a gift from her grandparents Kenneth and Audrey Armstrong. Material examined. 3♂, 6♀♀ (CMNC, MZLU). Holotype ♂ (MZLU): MÉXICO: Oaxaca. 25 km. E. Teotitlán del Camino, 2200m, 25.IX.1990, R. Baranowski / Sifting litter mixed oak forest / HOLOTYPE ♂, Theognete tomneyeae sp. nov., R.S. Anderson. Aedeagus extracted. Paratypes: MÉXICO. Oaxaca. Teotitlán del Camino (25 km. E.), 2200m, 24.IX.1990, R. Baranowski, sifting litter mixed oak forest (1♂, 1♀ CMNC, MZLU); same data as before except: 25.IX.1990 (3♀ CMNC, MZLU). Teotitlán del Camino (26 km. E.), 2250m, 26.IX.1990, R. Baranowski, sifting litter mixed oak forest (2♀ CMNC, MZLU). Teotitlán del Camino (36 km. E.), 2100m, 25.IX.1990, R. Baranowski, sifting litter under shrubs mixed oak forest (1♂ MZLU). Chorological relationships. Sympatric with T. elongata, T. cristata, T. stefurinoi and T. baranowskii.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
